  • Be different, not indifferent

If the typical answer to any question is: I don’t care, then that’s indifference, you don’t want indifference. It’s a no-brainer. Indifference is not considering anyone except one’s self. In fact, it’s the epitome of selfishness, to the extent of ignoring even the needs of one’s well being. Be smart, realize everything is temporary, there are great and humble ways to manifest and serve self, others and altruistic organizations. Serving the general good of the whole population can best be done by learning to meditate. By meditating one quiets the mind and body and eventually becomes aware of the omnipresent, omniscient plan for the universe and how to be a harmonious participant.

  • Attitude Watch

I remember being told when I was growing up, “don’t take that attitude”.

Later in life, thinking back about that experience, I thought, “well maybe it’s  best not to have an attitude at all”. Now I realize that it’s nearly impossible, not to have attitudes about a myriad of things. We naturally settle on a certain attitudes toward people, situations and things. Sometimes those attitudes serve us and sometimes they don’t. It’s helpful to introspect and analyze our attitudes for the reason we have adopted them. Sometimes either out of laziness, mimicry, habit or prejudice we will unconsciously adopt an attitude spontaneously in new situations, but it’s behooves us to be very careful and calmly put the brakes on before adopting any attitude that is uncharacteristic of our usual way of thinking and behaving. People will sometimes take on the attitude of a group even though, after calm reflection they realize that the group’s goals do not resonate with our deepest held values.

It goes back to the axiom: “Know thyself, and to thine own self be true.”

  • Outside of the box… ?

Let’s not lose any sleep over this, but we will think outside the box. Thinking outside the box, can be done by changing the box or changing what’s inside the box, also changes the box, and therefore puts us outside the original box.

What is in the box?, if it’s the same thing every day, our task is to change it, ever so slightly if that’s all we can do. For instance, if our concept of consciousness is always that it is awareness, then let’s think of consciousness as something else. Let’s say consciousness is knowing through sense or intuitional experience. When we are knowing something, for example, smelling a rose, it changes our consciousness or experience. We could say that consciousness is experiencing either through the senses or the intuition.

My definition box named consciousness has now been changed, and I am thinking outside or beyond my old box defined as consciousness. Ta da!

  • Challenging One’s Peace of Mind

And some have moved beyond the mundane and material, above reproach and their conduct is irrefutably sourced by the Heavenly Father of unconditional love. We are his perfect children learning in an imperfect world school attempting to manifest our perfect nature. How can we possibly do that, that is, manifest perfection in an imperfect world. Is the imperfection of the world independent of the souls living, growing, learning and playing roles in it’s mystery, drama, comedy of errors and adventure in which they develop their loving faith, resilience, fearlessness and persistence while overcoming the myriad obstacles in the satisfying of their desires and achieving their goals? The challenge is to avoid taking life too seriously and realize their the trials and tests are temporary in this finishing school for immortals, who are seeking to manifest their infinite unique natures.

  • From pain to peace

Did you hear the story about the peaceful planet? On this planet for centuries all the people were fighting each other. Wars broke out at the drop of a hat. Many people died in bloody confrontations.

Super colossal explosions devastated cities. The environmental cycles and conditions were negatively altered by indifferent manufacturing processes that polluted the natural resources.

The people finally understood that meditation would help them to reverse this trend.

They all needed to learn how to meditate and practice going within twice a day. A great majority of the inhabitants realized scientifically that quiet meditation would help them to calm down and in turn adopt peaceful, loving attitudes towards their fellow planetary citizens. Their meditation practice also helped them to create ways to save their planet from the errors of their manufacturing practices. Realization of their common origin created mutually prospering living and business endeavors that benefited all diverse cultures.

The planet’s spiritually evolving civilizations vibrationally refined and purified all life in their solar system and beyond.

Life was good for many, many centuries.

  • Just a thought

A sage has said that the universe and everything in it is a thought in the mind of God. Since we are children of God, conceivably, potentially, we, God’s children, have the power of thought and will to manifest things and conditions. If all God’s children were too think, on a certain day and time, that the earth was cool, imagine and visualize rain, snow, coolness covering the earth, and all conditions causing Global Warning to be once and for all reversed, then conceivably we could all make that transformation possible.

  • Nailing the simulation

When all you have is a hammer everything looks like a nail. When all you know is a computers everything looks like a simulation. The Hindus have a word for it, the cosmic play, God’s Lila.

  • Navy showers

Navy shower, (when they turn on the water for a few minutes to get wet, turn off the water to soak down, then turn on the water to rinse off)is required on Naval vessels because they carry a limited amount of freshwater on the ships. I was wondering: “why can’t they have a water distiller on-board near the heat generating engines, that would distill sea water from the ocean for the showers. The residue, brine, can perhaps be used in 3-D printers.

Lo and behold, I googled it and brine is already being used in 3-D printing.

And I wouldn’t be surprised if the Navy has already installed micro distillers on their ships.

  • At the moment

He’s going where he has never gone before, and when he gets there he won’t know anything. And no one will know him, the perfect time to reinvent oneself is when the ground is unfamiliar, and you have a few moments of creative leisure to ponder the possibilities, forget the past, be one with the present And create your own future.
