To thine own Self, be true, as the night is unto the day, …. and so on.
Thy shalt follow the wise precepts of old, but the unique nature of our individual purpose in life require us to stand on our own two mental feet of thought and will and lift our sights to clear, still and quiet understanding of the nature of our own truth.
What we understand about ourselves and our role may be the result of working on the concepts, and ideas that come our way and through our redesigning of them we can formulate a worldview that will empower us to solve our own problems appropriate to our situation.
Intuition, decision making, and understanding can function in a refreshing harmony.

The present possibility
We will continue to push the envelope of peace until it expands into infinity.
We will continue to expedite our desire for betterment, and for prosperity until it far exceeds our expectations.
We will manage somehow to do the right thing, to get the right results, to manifest incredible surprises in relationships, in this and all other enterprises, in all other attempts at manifesting money, in all other attempts at manifesting successful enterprises.
We will find a way. We know a way.
We will continue to manifest great and wonderful things no matter our previous failings. We will experience unparalleled inspiration, overcome incredible odds to be one of the greatest examples of the human ability to manifest superhuman potential and phenomenal acts of achievement to further the vision of humankind’s incredible worth, value and power to overcome with ingenious empathy the down and out difficulty-ridden life. This is a bad dream that I can climb out of if I so desire

The Creative Revolution
At https://unmistakablecreative.com, there is an interview with David Burkus (The Future of Work with David Burkus). In this interview, the author mentions that we are no longer in the industrial age, a fact that is probably no news to anyone reading this. There has been a Creative Revolution, and we are now in the Information Age. Many people have migrated from the hourly, pre-scripted job paradigm to a self-directed content provider model.
So this new age is perfect for introspective writing. Of course, people introspect, without writing. However, the act of writing can provide more focus and engagement, rather than mental pondering with your attention scattered or easily distracted. As mentioned before, when writing we can objectively direct the flow of ideas that we have, and decide on the quality, and expand the context of our inner monologue.
By cultivating flexibility and calmness, we can learn to think outside of our habitual boxes and record pertinent thoughts, redesign them, make them our own, and determine their value and effectiveness in transforming our life experience. The regular practice of introspective writing can improve one’s ability and understanding of how to accomplish that transformative task. -
Creativity and Introspection
Some companies will confine their creative efforts to one team and their analytic efforts to another. For years there was the popular right brain, left brain paradigm that seems to help us relegate different traits and tendencies to the appropriate department whether logical or creative. Then there was the body-mind paradigm. As time went on, we realized that these seemingly separate things were really working in tandem all the time. Of course, some of us focus our attention on developing one aspect of ourselves more than another, and we grow into believing that we are either one way or the other when in truth we are predominately one over the other, but not exclusively of the other aspect. For instance, the creative artist, may not be a math whiz but must follow a logical sequence of steps in order to achieve the desired result, just as a mathematician who solves abstract problems, may exclaim at the beautiful simplicity of the solutions that eventually reveal themselves. Those faddish dichotomies have lost their allegiance in favor of a more holistic view that acknowledges the participation of all aspects of our being in our daily life endeavors.

Mathematical Musing
Like any exhaustive study, mathematics can be a great way to develop an appreciation for many different perspectives.
Roger Antonsen shares ways in which mathematics can help one experience, see and appreciate
multiple perspectives in a TED talk called “Math is the hidden secret to understanding the world”https://embed.ted.com/talks/roger_antonsen_math_is_the_hidden_secret_to_understanding_the_world
Mentally manufacturing the mathematical models of mindfulness can mean the difference between mastery and mediocrity.

Relentlessness
Relentless analysis of our thoughts may sound like a very unromantic, dreary, or very difficult endeavor to undertake. Not necessarily. It can be entertaining. The task of changing one’s thoughts and aspirations reminds me of the movie, “The Never Ending Story”. Spoiler alert. In the movie, a story is being read from a big heavy book by a young boy, and the audience sees the story that the boy is reading and envisioning, so it becomes a motion picture within a motion picture. At one point near the end, the main character, another boy, must confront some dangerous circumstances, and when it looks like he will lose his life, the boy who is reading the story, shouts aloud in alarm and protest. Surprisingly the boy in the story hears the reader’s voice and realizes that he is not alone. Implausible, fantastical, probably, but it illustrates a point. The point is that we are not alone, and we have the power to change our destiny, but we have to believe in our ability to be influential and ultimately triumphant.
“We are never given more than we can handle.” Yet often we believe that we have come to the limit of our ability to cope. Uncomfortable as it is, the only way to grow, is to be challenged beyond our suspected limits, and we will rise to the occasion and be victorious if we so make the necessary effort and exercise the will to succeed. So if we are faced with more than we think we can master, we must first just believe that we have what it takes to chew up what we bit off, and not give up on ourselves.
We need, can and must relax, and sincerely ask the Omniscient listener how we can it master the moment. Ask relentlessly until we get the answers we need. -
Speaking of Self talk
We all engage in self-talk, whether it’s positive, “I’m the best” or negative, “I’ll never be good enough.” There are some attitudes that we may have accepted as children, that we are no longer aware of. Those unconsciously held beliefs may dictate our behavior, thinking, and choices.
We may know someone who says the same thing or does the same thing habitually and predictably.
We may not be aware of our habitual personality traits, but we all more or less live a ‘groundhog-day’ life without perhaps realizing it. Unless someone is very creative, pays attention, changes their responses to routine stimuli, has a “can do” attitude, then they’ve resigned themselves to a status quo existence.
The “status quo” remains so because people don’t take the time to think creatively about an alternative. The conception of a possibility is the first step to achieving it.
Some of us know what we want to do and some don’t.
I want to know what I came here to do and accept it.
I want to face my destiny, accept my destiny and improve, change, alter or enhance my destiny, to have a better destiny.
Do you know what it means to be self-deterministic?
Do you know where you came from and where you are going?
What is your self-talk?
Do you know how to change your self-talk?
What are your habitual mantras, slogans, sayings, remarks, comments? These habitual behaviors are all reflections of our thoughts and our attitudes. Our attitudes are the visible “iceberg” of our thoughts and life philosophy and are reflected in our habitual speaking.
Changing our ‘speaking’ will change our lives. Reflecting on our ideas will help us to determine whether those serve to create happiness or unhappiness in our lives. For glean some good ideas to combat negative self-talk, listen to the interview with Aaron Anastasi about his online singing program: Superior Singing Method, and his book: “The Voice of Your Dreams” on the Boomer Business Owner Podcast.
In this interview, Aaron shared some of his methods for dealing with negative self-talk. One of the practices was his habit of reading or listening to a list of all the positive things that people had said about him. He’s advocating action as an antidote for negativity. Just get busy doing whatever, and persevere, and ignore the negative self-talk.

Silly Thoughts
Practice pivoting your mind on the idea, that the thoughts you think, the words you speak, what you write, will determine who and what you will be.
Deepening our commitment to reshaping our thinking processes, paradigms, patterns, and perceptions, will take our awareness much deeper, and empower us to withstand the negative stultifying influence of societal and cultural group think.
Many of us have become enamored of mindless entertainment, becoming totally engrossed in fictional scenarios that offer some intellectual, and emotional satisfaction yet fail to actually make us better and happier human beings. It could be argued that occasionally we need some relief from constant work, especially if we are workaholics. We feel the need, to veg out, put the mind on neutral, stop thinking, analyzing, and shaping our world, and become passive witnesses. As long as we know when we’re being passive, and when we’re not, and we don’t totally lose sight of more important goals, escape can be a good thing. -

Time layers
The onion analogy is useful in the introspection conversation. Anyone who has peeled an onion knows that it has layers. So does our consciousness. Most of us live in the superficial layer. We are caught up in the humdrum of daily life, survival, and entertainment. Cut through those consciousness layers with mindful rigor and give your customary inner conversation a revision notice.
